Product FAQ
At Capelock Tiles, our Garage Floor Tiles are manufactured from durable, premium-quality
recycled PVC. Our Vented Floor Tiles are crafted from strong Polypropylene, while our
GymGuard Mats are made from resilient Natural Rubber.
Yes, absolutely. All our PVC tiles are non-toxic and completely free from harmful substances
such as ammonia, phthalates, DMF (Dimethyl Fumarate), and Formamide. Our products are
tested at source by SGS to meet international safety standards, and additional quality checks
are carried out to ensure compliance.
All Capelock PVC floor tiles meet strict fire safety standards with a Reaction to Fire
Classification of BFL-S1 and a Slip Resistance Classification of BS EN 7188, giving you peace
of mind that they’re both safe and durable for everyday use.
Yes – but with some limitations. Tiles within the same range are fully compatible and will
interlock seamlessly. For example, all tiles in our DuraFlex Range (DuraFlex, DuraFlex Stud,
and DuraFlex Tread) can interlock with each other, even across different colours.
Similarly, all tiles in our Vented Range interlock with one another and are also compatible
with our ShedBase tiles.
Please note that our Checker Diamond Tiles and GymGuard Mats are standalone products
and will only interlock with tiles of the same type.
We maintain high stock levels across all our tile ranges to ensure you get your products
quickly. While we do our best to keep up with demand, there may be occasional times when
certain tiles sell out. Since Capelock Tiles manufactures our own products locally, restocking
is fast, so you won’t have to wait long for the next batch.
Yes! Capelock Tiles provides free samples of all our products so you can see and feel the

Delivery FAQ
Capelock Tiles uses courier services for small orders and pallet delivery for larger orders. To ensure delivery charges are fair and accurate, we calculate costs based on weight and delivery location. For a full list of rates and zones, please click here.
For items in stock, our standard courier delivery usually takes 2–4 working days, while larger palletised orders typically take 2–5 working days.
If you select the ‘leave safe’ option at checkout, pallet deliveries do not require a signature, and a photograph is taken at the point of delivery for your peace of mind. We’ve delivered over 50,000 pallet orders and have yet to have one go missing from a customer’s driveway!
All online orders are delivered via our standard service (2–4 working days for courier orders, 2–5 working days for palletised orders). However, in certain cases, we can offer expedited delivery for orders placed by phone. Please contact us at [insert SA phone number] for more information.
Yes! For all non-palletised orders, we provide full tracking information. You can track your order using the links in your order confirmation email. If you encounter any issues, our team is happy to assist—just give us a call.
For palletised orders, tracking allows you to see when your delivery is out for drop-off, keeping you informed every step of the way.
Not always. If you’re not available at the time of delivery, your order can be left in a safe place without requiring a signature. You can either call us to make these arrangements or add a note in the comments box on the order confirmation screen.
Unfortunately, we cannot deliver to PO Boxes or military base addresses at this time.
